Sacred Moon Reiki is another old school energy that I have been working with close to 2 decades and it has to be one of the first moon based attunements that I received when I first started to walk the path of being a Lightworker.

 

Since the beginning of time, women have connected with the moon. During the channeling of this energy, Shelly was visited by Grandmother Moon where she spoke to Shellys heart "There are many things humand are doing to the earth and the sky" As Grandmother Moon spoke these words, Sheelly could see tears flowing from her eyes. Grandmother Moon told Shelly that she had a job to do and this was to share the widsom of Grandmother Moon. In the Native American culture, women have full moon ceremonies which is a time when women gather in celebration of being a woman from the first mentruation until they become Crone. Shelly was given 1 symbol that is to be passed onto others through the distant attunement as well as guidance in how to work with the energies for healing of the self and others. You will learn about a cleansing rital that is to be performed before the attunement and to make sure the mind, body & spirit is pure.

Since I was attuned, I have heard several teachers state that men cannot receive this attunement and it is ony for women. Not only is this reverse sexism which has no place within the spiritual community but it is also false. Men are more than welcome to celebrate the divine feminine because the feminine also resides within them. For true healing and happiness to unfold in ones life, there must always be a balance of the masculine and feminine and this is what I feel Sacred Moon Reiki can bring.
